Our President’s Letter

September 2010

My very dear friends,

As you will see from this newsletter, we have a very busy time ahead of us in these next couple of months.

I hope you’ve all enjoyed the summer, though unfortunately there seems to have been quite a lot of illness. However, let’s hope that the winter will be a bit kinder to us.

Pauline has worked hard in the garden all summer, and would appreciate a bit of help, so if ‘anyone’ can spare a few hours – even if it’s just a one off – we would be grateful. Tom is not able to work in the garden now as he’s not well enough.

As you will see from the Newsletter we have a lot of spiritual events arranged – all new ventures – so please support them. These things are not easy to arrange, and as we don’t anyone missing out, please keep your eye on the notice board in the vestibule.

The Church is the place to meet like minded people, to ask questions and find answers that make sense, to find your pathway and to feel safe with the direction you’re going in. We all tend to stumble along the way, but when we fall we pick ourselves up and keep going no matter what – we don’t really have a choice, do we. However, if we take comfort in holding on to our beliefs, to what we see, hear, work out in our minds. Just listen to that inner voice and follow it, then we cannot go far wrong. Because that’s what is right for ‘us’ as individuals. We’re all different with our own ‘special’ thoughts, so listen to yours.

I could go on quite a bit more, but I’m sure you all know what I mean. I look forward to seeing you in Church.

God Bless.

Love and light to you all.

Connie
