A Brief History

The Ryde Spiritualist Church was founded by Mrs Perk in 1921, and the Library started with donations of spiritual books and has grown through the years with people giving their books. A donation of over 200 books was given by a gentleman going to New Zealand to live. Many members have presented us with interesting books of spiritualist nature. We are always pleased to increase our library with more recent books that can inspire people to learn and answer any questions to advance their spirituality.
